Managing Executive Challenges
Pari Namazie obtained her PhD in International Human Resources Management from Middlesex University in the UK in 2007. She has contributed book chapters and articles to HR and intercultural fields and has been a regular speaker at international conferences. She is a member of the Society for Intercultural Education Training and Research (SIETAR) Europe. Her training expertise in the intercultural field has focused on intercultural awareness for expatriates, teambuilding and leadership development specifically in Iran and the Middle East. Her research activities include the effect and role of culture in management, factors effecting the development of HR in the Middle East.
This Module will provide you with knowledge in the fields of communication design, professional ethics and negotiating in different cultural and communicative situations. It will teach you how to classify and deal with different cultural factors and cultural characteristics, and it will give an overview about typology of communicative and conflict behavior.
- You will be familiarized with models to classify and analyze cultural factors in the host country as well as models for communication design with project partners.
- You will be able to apply these models in different areas and situations.
- You will be provided with practical skills concerning active participating in controversial discussions, presenting and supporting your own arguments and elaborating a well-structured research paper.
