Seasonal Schools

The Global Politics Seasonal Schools are intensive certificate programs lasting up to two weeks for advanced students with a strong background in the political and social sciences. Jointly organized by FU Berlin and a renowned partner university abroad, each school bring together highly qualified students to exchange and debate current developments in the study of global political and economic phenomena.

By embracing an interactive teaching style, the schools’ curriculum goes above and beyond traditional methods and perspectives. They integrate state-of-the-art teaching, ranging from theory-based seminars taught by renowned international scholars to interactive working groups and simulation games to online discussions. On top of that, practice-oriented modules and a rich supporting program including excursions to sights of cultural and historical importance, provide a great opportunity to learn about career perspectives with multinational companies and to form lasting connections with young scholars and professionals in the field.

Starting in 2010, the CGP offers a total of five seasonal schools in dynamic world cities around the globe: A Summer School in Istanbul, Tehran, and Shanghai, and a Fall School in Athens and Hanoi.
