News from Oct 18, 2010

On Friday, October 13 we were happy to welcome our advisory board member Robert Legvold. He was the key speaker at a brownbag lunch with the topic “Euro-Atlantic Security Initiative and sister undertakings”. The event started with an introduction by professor Legvold about the nature of the so-called Euro-Atlantic Security Initiative and its goal to build a security community, which can respond to old and new security threats. After an intensive discussion with the audience, Legvold was extensively informed about the CGP programs. He also took the opportunity to meet CGP director professor Dr. Klaus Segbers, staff members and students. Furthermore, several possibilities for future cooperation, especially in the fields of funding and consulting, were developed.
