IR expert and CGP cooperation partner Chen Zhimin is set to give a lecture at FU Berlin on the changing global role of China.

Chen Zhimin, a Dean and Professor at the School of International Relations and Public Affairs (SIRPA) at Shanghai’s Fudan University is set to deliver the Herrhausen Lecture at Berlin Freie Univeristät. Professor Chen has been working with the Center for Global Politics as our main cooperation partner involved with the Graduate School of Global Politics (GSGP).
The lecture itself will be held on Tuesday the 19th of January at the Politics and Social Sciences building located at the FU Berlin main campus. There he will speak about the changing role of China in the international order. His lecture, entitled ‘China in International Order: From Rule taker/keeper to Rule shaper’, will draw from his years of experience in International Relations working both in China and abroad.
The Herrhausen Lecture is an ongoing series of IR lectures formerly known as the Foresight Lecture. It is presented by the Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft in cooperation with the joint programme Master in International Relations of the Universität Potsdam, the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the Freie Universität Berlin.
