The Center for Global Politics is always looking to help our staff broaden their international experience and deepen their knowledge of IR studies around the world. To this end, our Senior Manager for Student Affairs Sabine Pag recently applied for the ‘ERASMUS+’ exchange program for administrative staff. As part of this she was also granted an ‘ERASMUS+ worldwide’ scholarship to assist with the funding of this trip.

Sabine chose Israel’s Tel Aviv University (TAU), one of the country’s foremost education institutions as her exchange partner and will stay there for a total of 12 days. At TAU Sabine has been working to meet with a number of representatives from various departments and groups within the school. These include meetings with the head of the Office for International Affairs, as well as their coordinator for international students. In addition to this, she will meet with a representative of the university’s student union and the coordinator of the master program Political Science and Political Communication.

Beyond these meetings she will also have a desk in the entrance hall of the Department for Social and Political Sciences and distribute information for TAU students about the CGP.

Despite being busy with this academic exchange work, Sabine will nonetheless be continuing to work for the CGP throughout her time in Israel and will remain on call, able to respond to emails and other requests should they be needed.
