The Center for Global Politics is proud to welcome two more graduates into its vivid alumni network: Mr. Ju Hao from China and Mr. Marc Venhaus from Germany. Both graduates have recently received their PhD after successfully completing the sophisticated intensive program of the Graduate School of Global Politics (GSGP) in 2016.
Mr. Ju, whose study visit was fully funded by the highly competitive Chinese Scholarship Council, received his doctorate this summer with a thesis titled “Economics and Elections: Analysis of Economic Voting in Central and Eastern European Countries during the Post-communist Era”.
Mr. Venhaus, who spent a research stay at China’s prestigious Fudan University in the framework of the GSGP-Program, earned his title with a dissertation on “US Hegemony in Finance and China's Ascent in Times of Global Financial Crisis - From Washington’s Dusk to Beijing’s Dawn?” this fall.
We congratulate them both and wish them a successful start to the next year.
