Today, the International Relations Online (IRO) and East European Studies (EES) master’s students have returned to Freie Universität Berlin for their second day of in-house classes. Ranging from bargaining tactics and negotiation strategies in global politics to issues of migration in the Eastern European context, this week’s agenda offers many interesting topics to be discussed. After classes have finished, the students venture into Berlin in the afternoon.
During their visit to the Reichstagskuppel, they will learn about the history of the Reichstag building with the famous glass dome while taking in the spectacular views of the parliamentary and government district. Tonight, the students will enjoy typical German cuisine in the heart of Kreuzberg. The Welcome Dinner takes place at Max and Moritz, one of the classics of Berlin’s restaurant scene, where students have the chance to discover the city from its culinary side. Making for a perfect ending to the second day of in-house classes, we are looking forward to a relaxed evening with good conversations before returning to classes on Wednesday morning!
