The Business Journal “Ticker” of the German Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai reported on the Global Politics Summer School in China

The Module on Corporate Social Responsibility of the CGP Summer School 2017 in China has received attention from the Business Journal “Ticker” of the German Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.

In its 5th issue for October/November 2017, the Shanghai based Business Journal “Ticker” reported on this year´s Global Politics Summer School China and more specifically on the Seminar on Corporate Social Responsibility, which they co-hosted together with Prof. Segbers. As part of the chamber´s CSR initiative “More than a Market” participants of the Summer School had the opportunity to learn about CSR approaches of German companies in China, industry specific challenges, as well as participate in the competition on CSR projects. The jury, that included Weiguo Wang (Siemens), Tim Wenniges (Konrad- Adenauer-Stiftung), Prof. Klaus Segbers from FU Berlin, Prof. Bo Yan (Fudan University) and Ines Sieckmann (German Chamber), granted the first prize to a student project proposing empowerment of young mothers and aims to ameliorate postpartum mental health in China.
