The event took place at the loft of the former chocolate fabric “Red October”, where more than forty gests came together to celebrate the upcoming seasonal festivities. With the year coming to its end, alumni and gests had the opportunity to exchange on personal talks, discuss ideas, as well as share their experience with the GSR program, since throughout the whole event pictures from the 14-year long history of the program were shown. The gathering was even more special, because alumni from every single run of the program were present. Moreover, the event was attended by Arina Karakcheeva, representative of DAAD, Prof. Aleksej Voskresenskij für das MGIMO und Prof. Klaus Segbers, director of the Center for Global Politics, FU Berlin.

For current and old GSR students the Christmas party has proven to be the best opportunity to mingle with fellow alumni, to get to know new colleagues and catch up with the old ones. GSR is always happy to organize such gatherings and facilitate events for networking with the alumni and everyone involved with the program, and is already looking forward for the next one.
