What can academia contribute to moderating conflicts?
CGP is happy to be able to carry out its third research workshop with PhDs and practitioners in the field, jointly organized by the Ukrainian Catholic University and the Center for Global Politics of Freie Universität Berlin.

On April 25, the workshop took off with the introductory module by Prof. Klaus Segbers on the changing global landscape and a cheerful welcome dinner at Ресторація Бачевських - Baczewski Restauracja in Lviv's beautiful city center.
In the upcoming days, participants will discuss topics like "Conflicts in (Eastern) Europe", "The European Union" and "Impulses for Curricular Development in Global Politics". The program also entails a panel discussion on "The Minks Process: Taking Stock", featuring distinguished experts Dr. Hanna Shelest, Alexander Hug (Head of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine) and Dr. Andreas Wittkowsky as well as a one-day workshop on "Ukrainian and Russian Framings of the conflict in eastern Ukraine".
